One of the special walks enjoyed by a lot of our guests is the guided climb up the volcano Mt Batur. The aim is to watch the sun rise over Bali from the summit so we leave Ayung Sari Indah at 3am to drive to the base at Lake Batur. The walk takes around 4-5 hrs and is suitable for people of reasonable level of fitness.
After returning to the base, it's time to revel in your achievement whilst relaxing in the Hot Springs Pool. Arrive back at Ayung Sari Indah early afternoon for lunch and a well deserved rest.

The Sacred Monkey Forest of Padangtegal is a popular attraction, offering cool walks amongst lush tropical towering trees and ravine. The forest and its temples form part of ancient and current village life and many rituals and ceremonies take part within it. The monkeys that guard temple sites are long-tailed macaques. There are 4 troops of around 350 monkeys and they are fascinating to watch.
